Booking terms

These terms apply to stays booked directly on the-floors.com. By sending a booking request you accept them together with the house rules and the cancellation policy of the place you book.

Who you book with. You book directly with the owners of the place, who host it under the The Floors name (“we”).

How a booking is made.

  • You choose the dates and send a request. We hold the dates for you while we check it (up to 48 hours) and reply by e-mail.
  • The booking is confirmed when we confirm it by e-mail. If payment is due, the dates are secured once the payment arrives within the time stated in that e-mail (24 hours unless we agree otherwise); a booking that is not paid in time is released.
  • The price in your request is final: nights, cleaning, extra guests and discounts, in the currency shown. There are no platform or service fees.

Payment. After confirmation we e-mail the payment details (bank transfer or Wise). Please include your booking reference. Fees charged by your own bank are on your side.

Guests and use. Only the guests in the booking may stay, up to the maximum stated for the place. The place is for living in: no parties, events or commercial shoots without our written consent.

Arrival and departure. Check-in and check-out times are shown on the page of the place. Check-in is self-service with a personal door code that we send on the morning of arrival; it stops working at check-out time.

Cancellation. Cancellations and refunds follow the cancellation policy. We cancel a confirmed booking only in exceptional circumstances (for example, if the place cannot be used) — then you get a full refund or, if you prefer, one of our other places.

Care of the place. You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and for breaking the house rules (for example, the smoking fine). We will show you what happened and agree the cost with you.
